aquastat wiring (L6006C)

Postby royerm » December 3rd, 2015, 3:01 pm

Good day everyone....

Soon to receive my aquastat to control my HVAC Fan, meaning that once I get to a certain
temperature it will close to establish a contact and power up my Fan.

The way I see it there is 2 wires coming out of it and was wondering
to which Terminal I should plug it to on my furnace???? to start my Fan.

Cheers

Find one of the wires for the fan only part on your wall thermostat circuit
( only one wire is needed ) Attach the 6006c to the return pipe entering the kit .
Cut the one wire you have choosen then attach as shown in picture then flip wall themostat to fan only set aquastat to your heat settings.
Chech this out with your electrical contractor I am not a electrican this is how mine is

As a follow-up...

I'm using the R and G terminal on my furnace for connecting my two wires (R&W) from the aquastat
and it works well. Just to mention that I connected it in parallel with my existing HVAC.

So my Furnace/Heat pump continue to work as usual and when I run the pellet stove
my aquastat can activate the Fan when it reach my pre-determined water temperature..

Voila....
